Wild Mountain Farms

WILD MOUNTAIN FARMS

Wild Mountain Farms is no longer a business. After nearly twenty years of hard work,
we have finished breeding and raising horses and are selling our stallion. We are keeping the
website to share news about our lives with the many people who come to visit us here so regularly.

Christie - the lead mare

Riding horses every chance I get, exploring Montana's wilderness areas, spending as much time as possible with my nieces and nephew, and just got back from a visit with my Dad! Click here for more!

Dave - the rancer's husband

Goings on at the ranch...

Picture
One of Chance's daughters (a half Rocky) came home to us this year. We bought Ferggie, a well trained riding horse. She may be for sale or we may decide to keep her for ourselves!
Picture
We had the first baby born from our stallion whom we get to keep! Little Silver, born to Gem, is everything we hoped for. A filly, buckskin, smart and healthy. We love this girl.
Picture
We had all four nieces and nephews here this summer for two weeks. Josh and Jess stayed on and are here for a total of two months (fabulous!!).
Picture
Onyx, the first foal ever born to Wild Mountain Farms, was recently sold to the same family who bought Chance. The two half brothers are living in heaven out there, riding regularly and loved on every day. We couldn't be happier for him.
Picture
Think we finally found Ella's horse. This is Rain and she has as much go as Ella does. Now all we need to do is see if she can jump!
Picture
Chance has settled into his new home well and is thriving. Riding regularly, gaiting better than he ever has adn loved, loved, loved. This is the best home we could have hoped for for our dear boy.
