Because we had raised full-sized goats for years, we assumed that we knew what we were doing enough to take in some Nigerian Dwarf Goat babies without doing much additional research. Turns out we were wrong.

The biggest problem with feeding Dwarf Goats is that we want to feed them too much. If a flake of hay is 5 lbs, a dwarf goat is likely to need only 3 lbs of that in a day. That means, if you feed twice per day, you need to give them just over a fourth of a flake each time.
