DESCRIPTION:
Flower
These blooms are tube shaped with 5 little petals jutting out at the opening. The buds are pink and purple and mature into blue or periwinkle when the flower opens. The petals and covered in short bristle hairs. These bells form all the way up the narrow stem, typically in groups of 3-8 flowers per bundle.

Stem and Leaves
Lance-like leaves jutting out, two at a time, opposite of each-other on a long, thick, stalk. The leaves have serrated edges, more thorn like than deep serrations, though they are not sharp. The stem has tiny hairs if you look closely.

WHERE TO FIND IT:
Bluebells are typically found along mountain roadsides and sparse forests. They prefer moist soil and cooler weather conditions.
