Horses For Sale

For sale now...

2020 - We have a number of non-Rockies or half Rockies which we are looking to sell as project horses right now. By Project Horse we mean that there is something about them that needs work and so we are selling them at a much lower price than a horse of their training level would normally go for.

Picture
Project Horse for Adoption: Doc (Registered Tennessee Walker) - Doc is being offered for a $500 adoption fee because of his age. He is a life long trail horse, gaited, and has TONS of energy, despite his age. My niece took him out to gallop all over the mountains all last summer but has since moved away and Doc is not getting the attention he deserves. He has two issues we will describe on his details page, but otherwise is a really fine riding horse who is looking to bond with a real partner. Registered Tennessee Walker. Black Gelding. 21 years old.

Project Horse - Nova (Half Rocky). Nova has some issues with other horses, which is why we are listing this otherwise excellent, fully trained, kid-safe mare for such a low price. She is out of our stallion, Chance, and a POA mare we bought years ago. She has Chance's body and in many ways, his personality as well. Check out her details page for information on the two problems which are causing her to be listed as a project horse. $2500 obo

May be listed for sale soon - Kali (Certified/Registered Rocky Mare). We are still hoping to bring Kali through her issues and keep her as a riding and breeding mare. We will post more if we get to a point where we decide she needs to be listed for sale as a Project Horse instead. She is a full blooded Rocky who just needs some training that we aren't up to giving her.

2020 foals...

2 babies due this year, late in the season.
  • Gem X Honor - full Rocky - beautiful buckskin filly born in June!
  • Cowgirl X Honor - half Rocky, half quarter-horse - expected this fall!

SOLD - Gem - (bay mare, 16 years old) A lovely mare with soundness issues who is not up for being a normal riding horse. Great to pony kids around or do light riding and, a stellar broodmare with some of the best bloodlines in the breed, this mare will make someone a very dear friend. $500 adoption fee.
SOLD - Chance - (Chocolate/Flaxen 15 year old gelding) One of our best horses, this guy would make a great mascot - he is full of personality. An old injury means he needs to be kept to lighter riding. He is great with kids and beginners, a very experienced pack horse, and one of the most personality-rich horses you will ever meet. He has a home here for life unless we find a home in which he will be happier and more active than he is here. $2500 (lease option also available)
Picture
SOLD - Smudge - Owned by a neighbor, we are posting info about this 23 year old experienced riding horse. Quarter-horse paint who produces exceptional babies, is a great lead mare and needs a home. $800
Picture
SOLD - Tiko - (jet black 10 year old gelding) Extensive training and trail experience; smooth and easy gait; Kind personality. This big guy is interested, alert, and gentle. $9500
Picture
SOLD - Stormy  - (5 year old black and white paint mare) Stormy is bright and energetic, athletic and lovable. She is looking for her next great adventure! $3500
Picture
SOLD - Copper - (13 year old dappled buckskin mare)  Copper is smooth gaited and beautiful. She is looking for a trail partner she can bond hard with and put her whole trust in. $3500
