DESCRIPTION:
Flower These unique flowers grow in bright yellow disks in broad flat clusters at the head of the stem. There can be multiple flowers per stem, around 3-5. The blooms themselves resemble buttons. |

The strong stem is 3-5 feet tall, with a red or purple tinge towards the bottom. The stem supports leaves growing all the way up, and then branches into numerous parts towards the top to support the flowers.

These fern like leaves appear as grey-green. At the base of the plant they are very long, 8-12 inches, and half as wide. The leaves grow up the stem on opposing sides, and get smaller the higher up they go. The feathery leaves have fine, serrated edges.
