DESCRIPTION:
Flower White flowers blooming on opposite sides the stem tips in tiny bulb shapes. The mini petals form tight bell shapes around the pollen. There are typically 5 petals per bell, though it varies. |
Whole Plant:
Stem The stiff stems grow to 15-50 cm tall. They are unbranching and grow from the cluster of leaves at the base if the plant. The stems don't support any leaves, just the bundles of flowers at the top. The stems range in different shades of green, but tend to be lighter than the leaves. |
Leaves
The rounded leaves have an almost tie die color pattern. With different shades of greens mingling throughout. The leaves are longer than they are wide, and have rounded lobes on the edges. These leaves are the first part of the plant to grow for the season, and the last to leave. Throughout summer they shrivel up until they regrow the next season. |
Roots
The roots are fibrous but some plants have rhizomes helping spread the plant from underground. The fibrous roots spread wide to anchor plant and help absorb nutrients.
