PCT Section A, Part 2
From the Boulder Oaks Campground to Mount Laguna
Elevation changes:
Distance: Pets Allowed: Yes Fees: None Normal Ride Time: Difficulty: Best Seasons: Ranger District: Descanso Ranger District 619-445-6235 Trail Description:
Pretty much a constant climb in in the high mountains. Mount Laguna tops out above 7000 feet and the rolling, desert hills you go through in the section leading up to the town of Mount Laguna are not just hills but large mountains. Much of this area has large stretches with ground not flat enough for camping. |
